Kenmore City Manager Teri Killgore

We're excited to have Teri give opening remarks!

Teri Killgore was appointed Kenmore’s City Manager in September 2025 following a national search process. She brings nearly 30 years of public service experience and is recognized for her collaborative leadership style and values-driven approach, guided by integrity, transparency, fiscal responsibility, inclusion, and creativity.

Killgore began her public service career in 1995 and has held leadership roles in cities across Arizona and California, including Assistant City Manager in Vallejo and Walnut Creek, Assistant to the City Manager in San Jose, Downtown Redevelopment Manager in Chandler, and most recently, Economic Development Director in Scottsdale. She holds a Master of Public Administration and a bachelor’s degree in sociology.

Raised in a family of police officers and teachers, Killgore was instilled with the principle of “working hard to make things better than you find them.” She values the unique opportunity local government provides to directly improve quality of life and is eager to partner with the Kenmore community, businesses, and City staff to help shape the city’s future.

Her first-year priorities include strengthening City finances, addressing affordable housing needs, supporting Kenmore’s evolving downtown, and advancing the Lakepointe project. Above all, she is committed to listening, engaging, and collaborating with the community.

Outside of work, Killgore enjoys hiking, visiting the beach, ballroom dancing, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, Brian, their pets, and her daughter, who is attending college on the East Coast.
